Bringing home your newborn baby is the start of a precious new chapter of your family's story. A new baby also brings adjustments for the whole family. When it comes to newborn sessions I'm here to put your family at ease, document the natural moments between you, and guide you every step of the way. These sessions take place in your home, making it easy to pause for feedings and diaper changes, and to document you in the place you make most of your memories! My lifestyle approach to a session documents the smiles, snuggles, and everything in between!
Newborn Photography

As a Mama myself I'm right there with you wishing time would stand still. In the blink of an eye we wonder how our son is losing his first tooth or when our daughter stopped mispronouncing that word in the cutest way. I believe family is one of the greatest blessings but often forget to pause to soak these details up myself. My lifestyle approach to family sessions gives you the opportunity to pause and remember those details. To whisper to your daughter your favorite thing about her or to give your son a bear hug before he's taller than you. I always leave time for just Mom and Dad too! I'm here to take the stress off of your session so when you look back at your photos you remember those moments you shared. After all, these are the days.

Family Photography

At-a-Glance:
Before having my own little ones and starting my photography business I worked as a labor and delivery nurse. During my time in the hospital I never got over the miracle of a new life entering the world and I love getting to experience it in a different way during these sessions. Those first days seem be a beautiful blur and those fresh baby details change so quickly. Documenting them in the room you met them in makes for sacred photos to look back on forever. These sessions take place 24-48 hours after birth at the hospital or birthing center. A tentative time frame is blocked off once you book with your due date. If you are interested in birth photography I would also love to hear from you!
